MO HealthNet Rebids Managed Care Contracts
The MO HealthNet Division is preparing to release a Request for Proposal next week soliciting bids for Medicaid Managed Care. Bid responses will be due in December, with contracts awarded early in 2012 with an effective date of July 1, 2012. Medicaid Managed Care exists in three regions, and mothers and children are enrolled in the plans. The state is soliciting bids in all three regions, and managed care plans will be contacting providers in their efforts to develop provider networks to support their current enrollment, as well as possible expansion efforts into additional regions of the state. The state is anticipating bids from new managed care plans, too.
