Using Information in Practice

The focus of this workshop is finding consumer and professional information on the internet. The workshop is June 19, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. − 3:00 p.m. and lunch will be provided. Librarians from the University of Missouri−Columbia Health Sciences Library will teach participants how to access information for use with clients and for professional development. The training focuses on the following:
- Finding evidence-based strategies to solve problems
- Determining credibility of web sites
- Finding accurate health information for consumers.
